Murrells Inlet

Our next adventure was to Murrells Inlet which is only a 10 minute drive from our condo. We had planned to have lunch first at Prossers Buffet but when we arrived we found it to be just a little "too local" for us so we opted for somewhere else.

Murrells lnlet is known for all its restaurants, bars and the marsh walk on the inlet. We parked at the Crazy Sister Marina (not sure which sister is crazy!). We then walked along the boardwalk which is located behind all the bars and restaurants on the marsh.

There were lots of pelicans at the marsh just hanging out on the posts.

After enjoying the boardwalk, Roseanne and I went across the street to the Lazy Gator to do a little browsing in the shop while Paul and Neil enjoyed a cool one at Drunken Jacks. While we were at the Lazy Gator we unbelievably met up with Merv and Pat Baker from our hometown of Grand Falls, Newfoundland, who are enjoying their winter in Myrtle Beach. Merv use to be Roseanne's grade 8 teacher. What a small world!
