More of Portsmouth, New Hampshire

One of the interesting points of Portsmouth for Paul and I was the unique architecture of the houses in the downtown area.  We enjoyed taking a leisurely stroll about, and taking photos of some of those houses.

We will surely return to this area and explore a little more.

Portsmouth, New Hampshire

On our return to Canada in April, Paul and I spent a couple of days in the Portsmouth New Hampshire area.  It was such a lovely area and we enjoyed exploring a little of the waterfront area of Portsmouth.

Interesting staircase overlooking the harbour.
(I would not want to use it!)

A Monument to honour fallen soldiers.
(A lift bridge nearby whose center span raises to a height of 170 feet, the Memorial Bridge was dedicated in 1923 to the veterans of World War I.)
