Tired of Winter Already

Although it is only early January, we miss walking the beach and looking for treasures. We drove down to the bay and looked out over the mounds of ice and snow and our hearts were sad. Our last walk was on 2 December.

We plan to become snowbirds so we can get back on the beach before the Canadian thaw.

  1. You're off to a good start! You've got the necessary gadgets and will likely add extras as you find your way around the gadgets via the Dashboard. You'll be able to add photos and keep us posted on your winter sojurn. Congratulations on joining the blogisphere!

  2. Coolio, you're now a blogger. Can you give us picks of the beach covered in snow? We have snowmobilers on our river already this year. Last year we have very few and not til really late in the season because the ice was never thick enough. Oddly enough I enjoy watching the snowmobilers play out on the river. It adds life to the otherwise sometimes far too much peacefulness. Tranquility is good for the sole, but too much sometimes just gets downright boring.

How will we know when to check your blog?

  3. My god, I can't believe what I wrote in that last item. I obviously changed my mind about what I was going to write several times before I finished and then didn't Preview it before I hit the Post Comment button. You can bet I will from now on!

Great to see the pictures of you and Paul, your beach and hiking trail. It's all really beautiful but I know how you feel about heading south to the warmth for awhile. Florida was fabulous and there are even better spots for the winter.

I'm looking forward to seeing all your travels in the future.
