Last fall Sonia Turner, better known in this area as the Seaglass Queen, started a New Comers Group for people moving into the Bathurst area. It is a "just for fun" social group and Paul and I have enjoyed meeting everyone. Sonia usually organises a social event or gathering about once a month.
This past Saturday evening she organized an evening of bowling at the lanes in Beresford. We had people from Germany, France, Vietnam, New Caledonia and Ontario, whom are now fortunate to work and/or live in the Bathurst area.
The evening was fun for all but there were not many bowling score over 100!
We think Sonia was trying to put Paul off his game....
Doug, Sonia's better half, was the photographer for the evening.
