Day 5 - Project Walkway

Well Day 5 has not seen too much progress as we are having trouble getting our stones from our local building supplies company.  We are hoping that tomorrow will be more productive.

Father's Day

Although Paul's son and daughter were not here to celebrate Father's Day with him, he did enjoy their telephone calls.  He started his day in his favourite place, our back deck, enjoying the view.

 

Paul requested his favourite breakfast so I cooked him a veggie and cheese omelette.

 

 

In the afternoon we visited with his sister and family and took a drive downshore along the coastal road to Salmon Beach.  Then it was back home for a surf and turf supper.

 

 

 

It was a great Father's Day for a special man.

Day 2 for our New Walkway

Lorne was here bright and early this morning to start day 2 of our yard project.

Paul and I finally found someone to do the work to replace our walkway, steps and garden wall.  Lorn was recommended by a friend.  So let the work begin...
